A Childhood Favourite that I still enjoy.

When I was younger and I couldn't yet read, I was mesmerized by this story whenever my mother read it to me. I would ask for her to read it night after night, and neither of us ever grew tired of it like we did with those silly, colourful books about writing on your father with permanent markers. I took it out and secretly read it when I was attempting to "fit in" and be cool. It was constantly by my bedside when I was an angsty and melodramatic young teenager.
It still never leaves my bedside. The writing and artwork give you a feeling of sleepy calm. I was heartbroken when I found that it was out of print -- But I felt very lucky to already have my own copy. I would recommend this storybook to everyone more than anything else I've ever read.
