Illustration Magic

I've read several Thumbelina books and this one has always captured my imagination more than the others. The elegant illustrations blend perfectly with the tone of the story. Love everything about this book!

For your collection

I purchased 3 of this title for our school library and would love to own my own copy. The illustrations are so lovely. I enjoy paging through books Susan Jeffers has illustrated. Amy Elrich's retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale is just right. The combined efforts of reteller and illustrator make this a very accessible book for the children's book section in any library.
